Meet Denee'

Denee’ earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. While working on her Master’s degree, she began her career as an educator. Over the course of a decade, Denee’ taught both elementary and high school ending her career in education as an elementary school counselor.

Denee’s education and training have provided her experience in working with various age groups and populations, as well as presenting concerns. During her graduate and post graduate internships, she worked in inpatient hospital and school settings. Through her work with children and adolescents, she has developed a strong interest in Mindfulness. Personal experiences have given Denee’ a unique passion for working with those who feel the need to be the strong one. She hopes to provide a space where clients can openly address their concerns and collaboratively create steps that move them towards becoming the person they were destined to be. She believes that healing happens in the context of trusted relationships and considers it an honor to walk alongside and learn from her clients.

Denee’ enjoys playing with her sons and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys reading, watching a good movie, and the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. She loves traveling, especially to the beach, and experiencing new things.
